Collaborative Family Law (also known as Collaborative Practice) is an
interdisciplinary way of resolving the issues that surround separation and divorce. It has been described as a more dignified manner of resolving issues. At the heart of Collaborative Practice is a
commitment to resolving all issues relating to a separation and divorce without the need for Court involvement, and instead focusing on each family member's interests. Collaborative Practice may involve lawyers, neutral financial professionals, and/or family professionals. Each member of the team is trained in Collaborative Practice. |
